A couple months back, my friends and I started a book club. Not just any book club, but the greatest book club; the greatest book club that ever lived at any given time in fact! We decided the rules were simple 1) You never talk about Book Club and 2) You never attend a meeting about a book you haven’t finished. That being said, we started off reading Rabbit, Run by John Updike and recently finished Good As Gold by Joseph Heller (Catch 22). I’ll spare you my review of these titles, but they are both must reads for any literary buff. Regardless of the book we’re discussing, it’s always great to get together with the guys and do manly things like drink Scotch, smoke cigars and um… discuss works of 20th century fiction. So I suggest to you to start your own book club, movie club or whatever it is that you and your friends may be into. But just know… if you do start your own book club… it won’t be The Greatest Book Club That Ever Lived At Any Given Time.
