Thrillist Case Study
|
The Challenge: Thrillist.com is a website generating free daily emails that offer recommendations on entertainment, food, drinks, events and travel found in a variety of cities throughout the U.S. With ten current editions, and more on the way, Thrillist is heavily dependent on technology to fuel its growth. When Thrillist moved to a new office space in SoHo, they required a complete data center build out, in addition to all new cabling, a VoIP phone system, network switches, routers, firewall, WiFi, and load balancing across multiple Internet Service Provider (ISPs) for optimal bandwidth and redundancy. |
| The Solution: Adam Rich, the dynamic founder of Thrillist, knew he could rely on Myriad Tech Solutions to cost-effectively build out his new office space from the ground up. MTS set up two physical networks that were configured according to Thrillist’s particular voice and data needs using Cat6 cable, as well as installed Voice over IP phone service from M5 and built out a complete data center. Mr. Rich described MTS’s service as “very professional and an exceptional value.” The project was “well done” and included “unobtrusive wiring and no issues with scaling.” MTS selected cost-effective and scalable products from Cisco and SonicWALL, assuring optimal reliability and scalability. |
